Carmel Proctor is a travel book writer and publisher, specialising in itinerary-based travel within Australia and New Zealand.

A Geographer by profession who has travelled the world, her career has been in the field of education and training, including lecturing in Geography in Higher Education.

Some of her research has been presented to the Royal Geographical Society.
